Introducing Ger Sasser and a new leadership series

After over 50 episodes of the Dose of Today, I took a break from posting media to help people directly and to figure out where I wanted to explore next. After much consideration, my heart was impressed to highlight the wonderful leaders we have in our community.

We have an abundance of great people here in Ashland, Kentucky, and we are often overlooked or viewed as inferior. Additionally, amongst our great people are great leaders: unsung heroes who are doing great things with what they have to improve the lives of others.

So I am leveraging my talents, and learning new ones, to create a series of interviews. In these interviews, I am going to sit down with local leaders and explore points in their life that made them who they are. We’ll explore their thoughts on life and leadership and try to understand the lessons they learned over the years and how it can apply more generally to all of us.

For this first interview, I chose my friend in whom I have much respect as a person and a leader. When I told him what I wanted to do, he only responded with, “when do you want to do it?” To Ger: thank you, my friend.

The production quality is not quite where I want it to be, and the first couple of minutes of the interview build slow, but I am content to start where I am and improve. You can choose to watch part one of the interview in two different ways: as a 30-minute piece or as a series of segments. I have included both below. I hope you enjoy it!
